Founded in 2015, the Centre for Budget and Tax Policy (Cbtp) is an independent think tank and centre of excellence in Africa on budget and tax policy. Cbtp seeks to provide a platform for advocacy and capacity building for CSO/ PSO, government agencies and development partner organisations in governance and accountability.
The centre focuses on enhancing prudent and all-inclusive public finance management practices in public institutions to promote equitable development nationally, on the continent and beyond.
